Top 5 Instagram Accounts you can't afford to miss!

I love Instagram as it speaks my kind of language – non-verbal communication! There is something to be said about our increasing ability to connect with people – all over the world – without even leaving the house or saying a thing! When I first discovered Instagram, I was like a little kid in a candy store; there was so much to see and do online that I had not been accustomed to yet.

Often I search for my favorite hashtags such as #bethechange and #daretodream in order to find and connect with like-minded people on Instagram. However, there are a few accounts that have resonated with me on a deeper level.

Each time these accounts post and come up on my feed, I read every word of the caption, no matter how long, and spend extra time viewing the post. I even visit them specifically on regular basis as a little break from "go-time" and I want to share them with you!

Some of them are famous influencers, some of them are souls on a mission, and some of them are strangers who vibe on the same level as me. ALL of them are worth checking out:

1. Danielle LaPorte @daniellelaporte

Danielle is a bestselling Canadian author, inspirational speaker, entrepreneur, and blogger. Her Instagram page is great because – much like her books – it makes you think. Every day, Danielle challenges her audience to retrospect into their own lives in order to solve internal struggles. Her page makes me feel empowered to move forward into more positive self-thoughts and behaviours.

2. Ange Peters @hol_fit

I love Ange’s page because it is so relatable to me - she is a mother of 2, at the front of an incredible health movement. If you have an interest in living a holistic, healthy life you will love her content! She has spent years learning about the body, nutrition, fitness, cleansing but most important - she models a truly healthy lifestyle.

3. We Charity @wemovement

The We Charity is an international charity that provides families with the tools and skills they need to lift themselves from poverty. Viewing this page on my timeline reminds me that small actions can have massive ripple effects when you are doing something for someone else. It is a daily motivator for me to make a difference however I can – be that global or in my community.

4. Humans of New York @humansofny

HONY is one of the most vibrant, interesting pages I follow! The page features daily pictures taken of the average person, with captions from interviews that are strikingly insightful. The page has the power to make you laugh, cry, question, and wonder. With over twenty million followers, HONY provides a worldwide audience with a glimpse of the real-life inhabitants of New York City.

5. Steal Time Back @stealtimeback

Steal Time Back reminds me that the time is always now! This account resonates with me spiritually and the page regularly posts about self-affirmations and other wellness activities. The page sells a line of jewelry and watches that aim to remind users that we are the controllers of our own destiny and that our time for action is now!
